  • Biography

Café Manouche is a young Gypsy Jazz & Swing band formed by three brothers playing music from the 1920s to the 1950s. The band covers a variety of genres including Parisian Waltzes, Hot Swing and touches of Latin and Bossa Nova, played in the distinctive style of Gypsy Jazz guitar legend Django Reinhardt.

A quintet in full, with melodic Accordion/piano, two swinging fiery guitars, hot double bass and sultry vintage style female vocals, the band has played many private parties and weddings and its music is perfect for many occasions and suits most venues; weddings, private parties, garden parties, festivals, vintage themed events, swing dance events, afternoon tea, sunday lunchtimes, late night bars, cafés, hotels, casinos and many more...

Cafe Manouche specialises in being diverse in its range of styles but can also tailor its music sets to just one genre to suit each event. Please get in touch for more information.

Cafe Manouche are delightful and we'd recommend them to anyone. On top of being super people to deal with, their music was all that we expected and more. They were booked for our Street Party to celebrate the Queen's 90th Birthday and everyone loved them. We had the combination of voice, guitar, accordion and double bass and this got the whole street dancing and calling out for more when it was time for them to finish. We wouldn't hesitate in booking them again.
